Geez, what a day. At lunchtime I went to fill up my car with petrol (for our US/Canadian readers, that’s gas to you). After paying for the fuel, getting back into my car, starting the engine, went to put the car into gear and the clutch went bang. So, now I’m stuck on the petrol station forecourt unable to move the car with angry people behind me wanting to fill up with petrol. Some guy who pulled up in front of me was helpful enough to help me push the car to one side. I then went back into the petrol station, they were kind enough to allow me to use the phone.

An hour later, the tow truck arrived and took me to the nearest garage, they can’t find time to fix it until Monday next week, so I had the guy tow the car back to my office.

Tonight I had to take the train home. It cost me £9.20 to go from Three Bridges, Crawley to Littlehampton. The train service has improved, and I could see myself using it more often if it wasn’t for the price!

Oh well, I just gotta try and get the car fixed now. More expense that I didn’t want. *sigh*
