I decided to cancel my T-Mobile phone account today, since I am looking for ways to save money, plus the company I work for has issued me with a mobile phone. However, what I didn’t realise was how difficult it was to cancel my contract. Here’s the transscript;

Me: Good afternoon, I wish to cancel my T-Mobile account
Rep: Okay, thats fine, can I interest you in a deal ..
Me: No, I just want to cancel my account
Rep: This deal will only cost you £1 a mon ..
Me: No, I don’t want any deals, I just want to close my account
Rep: Just hear me out, I’m sure you will be interested ..
Me: No I am not interested, I just want to close my account. I’m not interested in any deals, I just want to close my account.

So there we have it, after trying to convince the T-Mobile rep that I want to cancel my account, I now have the date of 16th August for when it finally stops.
