Saturday, the 7th, it was my birthday. I just turned 24. It’s crazy how we see that day when we get older, isn’t it? When you’re a kid, you’re overexcited and just can’t wait to see all the big gifts there are for you! As a teen, you can’t wait to have a big party with all your friends! As an adult, it’s not as exciting. I’m a year older, so what?

But this year, since I’m planning on moving away from my home country, I decided it would be the perfect occasion to celebrate my birthday with all my family and a friend or two. We were about 15! It was really nice. A bit like an early Christmas celebration. My mom and my aunt Colombe prepared a BIG buffet! It was delicious! I received a few gifts, but mostly money since this is what I asked for, and this is in fact what I need the most before flying to my fiancé. The whole evening went well, I even stayed up until early in the morning!

Wellard also sent me a mysterious box that I had to wait until Saturday to open. I couldn’t wait to see what was inside! As soon as I woke up that day I called him and opened the package. OMG! A star! He officially named a star after me! Wow! I still can’t believe it. I could have never guessed something like that! Do you have a star name after you? Huh? Tell me? lol I don’t know anyone who could have thought of something like that! Merci beaucoup mon chéri! Sooo thoughtful!
