Coucou!
Yes, yes we’re now living in our own house! It’s been 3 weeks now and it’s really great. It’s a nice little home with one bedroom and a garden. You can see some pictures here. I love the area, it’s quiet and very green. It’s the best place to cycle around. We’ve got everything we need, but a washing machine. Wellard’s brother has one for us, but he’s working a lot and can’t find the time to bring it to us. Oh well, good thing that their parents live close by! We had our sofa delivered last week, finally! We’ve been waiting for it for a few weeks and it was really uncomfortable to sit on patio chairs all that time.
What have we been up to in the last 3 weeks? We’ve been going to Amberley museum, which is really nice, we had a few walks around the river and the beach, had a few dinners at Wellard’s parent. I met two of his friends, a nice couple. The girl said she would take me clubbing. I just can’t wait for that! I really miss going dancing in clubs. We have also been to the government office to register our wedding. So we’re officially getting married on July 21st. I’m slowly getting excited and nervous! Me, getting married! Who would have thought?
I have decided not to have my cat flying to England. It might be too traumatizing for her, and she’s now very happy at my parents anyway. But I still want a cat! Good coincidence, Wellard’s sister have a female cat that just had kittens. The only problem with them is that they’re all grey. I wouldn’t mind having a grey one if I couldn’t choose, but a friend and neighbour close to their place has a cat had kittens too! And she got two ginger ones! Woohoo! I so want a ginger one! Why? Well, my first cat, who we had to get rid off, was ginger, and Belize, who is still is Montreal, is ginger too. So a ginger one would remember me of those to cats that are still in my heart.
Other than that, we bought a bbq and had our first dinner with it last week-end! I love bbqs! Wellard’s parents came over and we had a lot of meat and veggies on it. It was great. It made me think about when I would go over to my parents had a meat feast on the bbq. I’m starting to miss my family and my best friend over there…
I really like Littlehampton. The best thing about it is that I can get to the ocean in 15 minutes on my bike. I’ve been wandering around a lot in the last two days. So much that I caught my first sunburn. Ouch! We really need to get sunscreen! My skin need a break today, so I’m staying inside! I did all the important things I had to do this week anyway.
Okay, enough blogging for now. See ya!
