This morning the postman delivered my visa extension! With it I can now stay in the UK for two more years, and I am allowed to work! Yay! My boring little housewife life is nearly over! Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate being at home, but sometimes it gets a bit long. I have even been thinking about having a child just to keep my busy! lol Nah, just joking. But it is in our future plans.

Anyways! I was so happy to receive my visa this quick that I almost cried when I saw it. I wasn’t expecting it for at least another month! I now need to update my cv and ask some help from Dave to translate it in english. I’m not sure what kind of job I’d like to have just yet. Probably some office work, like I used to do in Montreal. I’d like something close enough from home to be able to get there on my bicycle. I’ll see what I can find!

Other than that, tomorrow morning we’re going on holiday for a week! I just can’t wait! It should be pretty cool! We’re going in Somerset with Wellard’s parents and niece. I sure hope we will get some nice weather!
