I didn’t get the job. I went to the first, and then the second interview. I really thought it was mine, but they chose the other candidate. Sadly, the fact that I have no job experience here in England disadvantage me. But I have to start somewhere, right? I would really love to continue on working in the secretarial domain. I contacted some temping agencies. At least they will give me some work, which will give me the so much needed experience, and some money! I really can’t wait to start working now. It’s been more than six months since I came over here, and the days are getting quite long…

I turned 25 last week! To celebrate, my husband and I went on a day trip to Brighton, which I had never visited before. It’s a nice city, it made me feel at home because it remembered me of my home town, Montreal. We went to the Sea Life Center, which is a great big aquarium! We both loved the place! They have some many different species in there, including sea horses! After our visit there, we walked up to Brighton Pier, and then to the Marina, which is enormous, to have a drink. We then headed back home, and went to a nice restaurant in town for dinner. It was a great birthday!
