Broken Wii Sensor bar?
If you have a small kitten that likes to chew through random electrical cable, and own a Nintendo Wii, you may want to pay attention.
Our kitten chewed through the cable of the Wii Sensor Bar making it totally useless. So, what do to? Well, I’ve ordered a replacement Wireless Sensor Bar, it’s a simple device consisting of batteries, a small length of plastic and two IR diodes. But wanting to play while we’re waiting it to arrive, I decided to use a simple solution to a hi-tech problem. Candles. I kid you not! Replacing the sensor bar with two candles on the coffee table 9″ apart worked.
So there you have it, if your cat chews through your Wii Sensor Bar cable, you can temporarily replace it with a couple of candles.
Update: If you put the candles in front of your TV, remember to increase the sensitivity of the Wii remote under system settings. This will give you a far better range of several feet.
