Broken Wii Sensor bar?

If you have a small kitten that likes to chew through random electrical cable, and own a Nintendo Wii, you may want to pay attention.

Our kitten chewed through the cable of the Wii Sensor Bar making it totally useless. So, what do to? Well, I’ve ordered a replacement Wireless Sensor Bar, it’s a simple device consisting of batteries, a small length of plastic and two IR diodes. But wanting to play while we’re waiting it to arrive, I decided to use a simple solution to a hi-tech problem. Candles. I kid you not! Replacing the sensor bar with two candles on the coffee table 9″ apart worked. :)

So there you have it, if your cat chews through your Wii Sensor Bar cable, you can temporarily replace it with a couple of candles.

Update: If you put the candles in front of your TV, remember to increase the sensitivity of the Wii remote under system settings. This will give you a far better range of several feet.
